Privacy policy

How Talibi handles personal data for tuition centres, their staff and the families they work with.

Draft for the owner to review. This is not legal advice.

Who we are

Talibi is operated by FLOWZA ONLINE STORE L.L.C - S.P.C, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, trading as Talibi (“we”). Talibi is software that tuition centres and academies (“centres”) use to manage students, fees, classes and messages with families.

Contact: hello@talibi.ae.

Our role

For the records a centre keeps about its students and families, the centre decides what is collected and why, and we process it on the centre’s behalf to provide Talibi. For the accounts of centre owners and staff, we decide how that data is used.

What we process

Accounts: names, email addresses, phone numbers and roles of centre owners and staff.

Students and guardians: names, contact details, enrolments, attendance, invoices, payments and documents the centre adds.

WhatsApp: phone numbers, the content of messages sent and received through the centre’s WhatsApp number, delivery and read statuses, message templates and their approval status. If a centre connects its WhatsApp Business App number, also the contacts and recent message history that WhatsApp shares when it is connected.

Records that keep the service secure: sign-in records and an audit log of actions.

How we use it

To run Talibi for the centre: send fee reminders, receipts, class notices and replies on WhatsApp; show conversations in the centre’s inbox; prepare draft replies with the AI assistant for staff to review; take payments when the centre turns them on; keep the service secure; and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use family messages for advertising.

WhatsApp messages and consent

Centres message families from their own WhatsApp number connected to Talibi, and only families who agreed to receive WhatsApp messages from them. A family can reply STOP (or إيقاف) at any time to stop WhatsApp messages from that centre, and START to receive them again. Meta’s WhatsApp terms and policies also apply.

Service providers

Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Cloud API), to send and receive WhatsApp messages.

OrbitNest, for hosting, the database and file storage.

Anthropic, for the AI assistant that drafts replies and reads files a centre imports.

Stripe and Ziina, for online payments when a centre turns them on.

Twilio, for WhatsApp test environments.

Some of these providers process data outside the United Arab Emirates.

How long we keep data

We keep a centre’s data while its account is active. When a centre closes its account, or a deletion request is confirmed, we delete or anonymise the data within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep, such as tax invoices.

Your choices

Families should contact their centre first, because the centre manages their records. You can also email hello@talibi.ae to ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion. See the data deletion page for the steps.

Security

Access inside a centre is limited by role, WhatsApp access tokens are stored encrypted, and changes are recorded in an audit log.

Changes

When this policy changes we update this page and the date at the top.
